NEW YORK, NY - April 27, 2022 – After a 2-year hiatus amid the Covid pandemic, Zinc is announcing the summer lineup of its highly successful jazz series produced by New York-based concert promoter, Charles Carlini of In Touch Entertainment. The programs comprise Piano Jazz and Guitar Masters evenings on select Mondays and Tuesdays. All these performances will continue to be a regular feature at Zinc throughout the summer months and into the fall. “These programs have met with such enthusiastic response from our audiences because each one features world-class musicians,” said In Touch’s CEO, Charles Carlini. “Given the rich repertoire of our summer series, we are confident they will continue to be very successful,” he added. Some of the artists featured in these series include: Piano Jazz: David Kikoski on May 17, Geoffrey Keezer on June 7, and Alan Broadbent on June 21. In addition to instrument- and voice-centric programs started last year, In Touch also continues its popular Latin jazz series curated by bestselling author and Latin jazz enthusiast T.J. English. Zinc in association with In Touch Entertainment is announcing the summer lineup of its highly successful jazz series held in a legendary New York music venue, Zinc. The programs consist of Piano Jazz, Trumpet Masters, Boss Tenors, Percussion Masters, Dangerous Rhythms (curated by bestselling author and Latin jazz enthusiast T.J. English), and Vocal Mania. The latter is also debuting this month on the West Coast, with performances held at Vitello’s Jazz and Supper Club in Studio City, CA starting on June 29.

This spring and summer, In Touch Entertainment's Boss Tenors series will feature world-class saxophone players in a legendary New York jazz venue, Zinc. Boss Tenors is part of In Touch's music series which also includes Vocal Mania and Dangerous Rhythms launched earlier this spring. The latter program focuses on Latin jazz and is curated by bestselling author and jazz aficionado, TJ English.

April is Jazz Appreciation Month and In Touch Entertainment is adding three new programs — Vocal Mania, Boss Tenors, and Dangerous Rhythms — to its already successful series of performances held at a legendary New York jazz venue, Zinc. Since its inception in 2017, Strings Attached jazz series, featuring four of New York City's premier six-string jazz masters on a single stage – Jack Wilkins, Vic Juris, Joe Cohn, and Mark Whitfield — has been a regular feature at the Zinc. Piano Jazz and Trumpet Masters programs were also added to the Zinc's line-up last year.
